Endurance International Group, Inc. seeks a highly motivated individual to primary responsibility will be to assist the Company’s worldwide tax function, including U.S. and foreign tax compliance direct and indirect tax compliance, transfer pricing, and general tax operations of a fast-paced, acquisitive, technology company. The newly created position is located at the Company’s Burlington, Massachusetts world headquarters. This position reports directly to the Senior Director / Direct of Global Tax and will require knowledge of basic business operations. They must have an interest in working within global tax teams, and working closely with management operational leaders on both business and financial issues. This is an opportunity for the right person to get exposure to many areas of tax. It requires a highly motivated individual who possesses a strong attention to detail, good organizational and interpersonal skills and adapts quickly. The Tax Analyst will be expected to build on his/her tax technical competence by keeping up to date on legislative and regulatory tax developments and trends.
The Tax Analyst will assist the Senior Director / Director in working with the corporate tax and finance teams and worldwide business leaders to identify, analyze and implement programs or transactions to reduce the Company’s taxes, minimize risk, and maintain a consistent global tax strategy. Specifically:
The Tax Analyst will assist with the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations (“ASC 740”) and quarterly and annual federal, state, and international related tax compliance, including compliance relating to international subsidiaries. Also, provide help with calculating tax basis balances, including tax depreciation, amortization, earnings & profits (“E&P”), transfer pricing, and Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliance.
In addition, this position will prepare filings for other taxes including U.S. sales & use tax, foreign value-added and goods and services tax, franchise, property, etc., assist with IRS and state audits and respond to related tax correspondence, including information requests, notices, information requests, maintain tax accounts, and provide analytical support for special tax projects.
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting or tax experience in public accounting or industry with medium/large multinational company
- Strong accounting, organization and communication skills
- High-level of energy, enthusiasm, and desire to grow your career
- General systems and process savvy with experience in relevant software/online tools and financial reporting systems, including: Intermediate to advanced user of: Microsoft Office Applications (EXCEL, WORD, etc.)
- Ability to learn Bloomberg Tax Research Tools
- Strong organizational & communication skills and possess a teamwork mentality
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
